God's stillborn lover.

I was just thinking about this while I watched the beginning of Braveheart.

When his lover dies he is willing to fight. Jesus came to fight for us because we were dead. We have been stillborn since the fall. And because God has seen us living in death he fought for us.

Sometimes I forget that He is still fighting for us...desperately seeking our hearts...longing to bring us to life.
